After you are pre-qualified and have found a home the next step in the process is providing certain pieces of documentation to your loan originator. Each person that will be on the loan will need to submit:

If you are salaried or hourly:

  • Pay stubs from the past 30 days
  • Prior two years W-2’s
  • Most recent two month’s asset statements (checking, savings, retirement) all pages
  • Copy of driver’s license
  • Purchase contract for your new home
  • Copy of listing agreement or sales contract for current home (if applicable)

If you are self-employed or paid on commission:

  • Everything on list above plus prior two years’ Federal tax returns, signed and dated
